THE THIRD EYE is a fiercely independent media celebrating Alternatives, Madness & Consciousness.

Ignited in 2012, The Third Eye evolves at the crossroads of different artistic, alternative and underground scenes from around the world.

The Third Eye is an original concept by Sophie Pinchetti, created as an open-ended multi-media art project.

It is a maverick project of Love.

// THE MAGAZINE //

The first issue of The Third Eye was published on the Summer Solstice 2012 in a limited edition of 1,000 copies. The magazine is internationally distributed across independent art bookshops and influential galleries including the Tate Modern, Institute of Contemporary Arts, Serpentine Gallery, the Palais de Tokyo and Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, as well as spontaneous distributions along the road throughout Europe in the Summer 2012. The Third Eye's magazine is an irregular publication. It is free form and free paced. It is non-profit. The Third Eye is fuelled on an alchemical brew of love, obsession, dream and desire to help transform our world towards a more positive, conscious and co-creative existence. Donations are much appreciated to keep The Third Eye in print!

// THE CINEMA //

The Third Eye's artistic activities include its initiative of the online cinema. Harnessing a flaming belief in the power of independent film, The Third Eye's cinema creates and promotes independent, experimental and non-commercial films from the past and present. The cinema sees film celebrated, with a vision to nurture and challenge artistic practice in avant-garde filmmaking.

Issue 2 of the printed publication of The Third Eye published this Autumn/Winter 2013, to be distributed through Spring 2014. The majority of the printing costs funded by IdeasTap who awarded The Third Eye with the Innovators Fund in July 2013. ALL PROCEEDS RAISED FROM THE SALE OF THE MAGAZINE GO TOWARDS THE PRINTING AND PRODUCTION COSTS OF ISSUE 03!
